Two undergraduates from our Geography Lab presented their work at ReSEARCH Dialogues this year.
Nathan Collyer presented a poster about the newest site in our Chattanooga Story Map project: the Walnut St. Bridge. Nathan gathered research about the site and created the story map as an Individual Studies with Dr. McCarragher.

William Stuart presented a poster about the microclimate of a Cumberland Plateau depression. Will gained fieldwork and data analysis experience while working on this project as an Individual Studies with Dr. McCarragher.

Both students also participated in the Undergraduate Lightning Round, where they presented two-minute pitches about their research ideas. Both did an excellent job and Will won third place (pictured below with the first and second place winners)! Both Nathan and Will plan to continue working on their research projects, so watch for more updates in the future.
